Riusuke Fukahori 3-D Painting




I recently stumbled across the work of Japanese artist Riusuke Fukahori. His painting method is unique, and it results in a very convincing optical illusion. The paint is built up between layers of poured resin, which give the fish their 3-Dimensionality. I love the fact that his finished work is both a painting and a sculpture. 


He really captures the motion of the fish, especially in the image above.
