The picture above may look like it belongs under the ocean, however it is not a real coral reef. It is made entirely out of yarn. This coral reef was made through crochet. It was created and curated by Christine Wertheim and Margaret Wertheim. The creation is meant to bring awareness to global warming and other pollutions that threaten the fragile coral reef.
