Elephant Ceramics is run by Michele Michael; she is a ceramicist who sells her pieces as functional kitchen ware. I like that she uses her work as a business, but the pieces are still very artistic. They are simple, but very unique. She uses cool-toned  colors that complement the simplicity of her work.

I like the texture in the pieces, how they look very raw. Combined with the way she applies the glazes, the pieces manage to look very organic while being completely abstract.

I like the spoons she makes too, because they’re an interesting object to make out of clay.
