This hand built porcelain, Venus, made by Kate MacDowell is one of her many works that depict bloodless bodies. Most of her works are invented from careful observation of the human and animal bodies and various organs in detail. Just by looking at it, you can tell how closely and prudently she has observed a particular organ. It's impressive how she uses both beauty and grotesque in her works, which attracts the viewers' attention for quite awhile.
