Xiaofeng creates these clothes out of ancient porcelain shards. I guess that
they are wearable! The way that the artist arranges the various shards makes the
dresses look interesting and dynamic. I really like how he used the blue edges
of the plate to create the hem. All the pieces have holes drilled in them and
then are sewn together with metal wire. I would think that making one of these
would have to be a big undertaking, figuring out how all of the little pieces might
fit together to make a dress. I also think that using the ancient pottery gives
the clothing an interesting historical significance.
