Paula Bellacera

Inspired by her mothers art work, Paula decided to go out and explore to find her own art media, which ended up to be ceramics like what her mother landed on. However, Paula didn't hit clay right away.  She began with photography, then painting, then printmaking, and then finally decided that she enjoyed forming three-dimensional objects, although she still enjoys printmaking. She states that "the spontaneity and plasticity of the medium makes hand building a process of discovery- full of surprises. She describes that each of her animals has personality and expresses a unique behavior, just like friends do.  Paula truly wants to "present the best of humanity through our animals," as all of her pieces represent some type of beautiful creature.
